How so many russian mebers joining 11 members joined in last 12 hour

Previously I was letting new users join without verifying email. Now new users will have to verify email to join (maybe have to check their spam folder for verification email), as the number of spam users grows and we spend more time banning/deleting them than interacting with actual SB users. If they don't activate email within a week or so they will be deleted.
