Hi,

It may be that a beautiful forum would be more attractive or it may not.  It may be as AB says there just are not very many SB programmers with questions or want to share their work.  There are a few active here and a few active on Facebook, but only a very small fraction of those that join are active in any way.

If there were a larger number of people wanting better facilities on a forum then I might consider trying to implement changes, but as it is it isn't an experiment I fancy with no real sugggestion it would make any difference.

If any-one wants to set up a different forum with more features or pretier (actually I prefer this to the black multi-coloured one shown, but that is subjective) I will be happy to join and help if there are more members, but I don't plan to do it.

I created 2 games for the itch.io basic game jam a while back and it had zero impact and am suspicious of fixes to generate interest that just involve work with probably no-one caring!

There are plenty of online 'learn to program' aids out there and it may be that SB has had its day, without something like MS to support it a bit.
