Sorry, no IntelliSense here (see screenshot). I downloaded the beta zip file with the 3 files included and saved them into the Lib directory.

Hello. ![]() I use the code editor "SB-Prime". https://litdev.uk/#Other%20Resource%20Downloads When I tried to update the LD extension version using the editor's built-in Extension Manager, IntelliSense also didn't print anything. But after I downloaded the archive from the site, I first UNLOCKED it in the "Downloads" folder. Then I unzipped this archive and copied all three files to the "Lib" folder, which is located in the "Small Basic" folder. This time, after re-launching the "SB-Prime" code editor, reference information about the functions appeared in the program window. Did you UNLOCK the archive before unzipping it? It is possible that archive blocking is the source of the problem. ![]()
Hi,
Not sure what the issue may be, I have checked the uploaded beta and I'm fairly sure the LitDev.xml has the modbus intellisense. The Extension Manager is SB-Prime should do all the unblocking automatically - sometime SB-Prime does need to be restarted to use the updated extension (if the previous version had been used in the current SB-Prime session). If you are going the download route, you need to unblock zip, extract and copy LitDev.xml as well as LitDev.dll into the lib folder. There is also an online version of the intellisense https://litdev.uk/LitDev_LDModbus.html

I can confirm that LDModbus-IntelliSense works via SB-Prime, but I don't manage to get it working with MS SmallBasic. Does not matter, I use the online version until LDModbus library is part of standard LitDev extension! Thank you all!
If its working that's great but the same extension works with standard SB and SB-Prime, they are just different interfaces to the same thing. No online (browser) SB version works with any extensions, I guess you mean SB-Prime as online.
There must be some quirk why its not working for you I don't understand, but as I said if its working some way then all good ![]() |
