Hi, pretty sure Scout is right about version.  Get SB-Prime from my website as shown above (reply #3), unblock dll and unzip it (I just tested so think this should work).  I had to update stuff recently to handle new website location and SSL security to get this to work.

yes I am using the latest version...

and it still stuck at the downloading database screen.

I found out why now, it was the extensiondatabase.xml file that was not working. After deleting it, it worked straight away.

I Hope this might help for anyone in the future that might encounter similar problem

Hi Yumda,

Can you please try the following:

Delete the file ExtensionDatabase.xml from the folder you have put SB-Prime.exe.

This is probably the old file from the old website, that can cause this issue I think.  Alternatively you can download, unblock and unzip SB-Prime to an empty folder.  I suspect it was unzipped into the old folder you had.

I hope this works for you Smile

Hi litdev:

I have done that again also, it was the xml file that was playing up, even though the file attribute said it was created today. However, once I deleted that one, the download manager is working. Just one more note, the http://getjibba.com is not working. Not sure if it is just me or also for someone else

The reason the old xml fails is a bit involved and not due to permissions etc, more to do with xml serialisation/deserialisation when some details inside the file get merged.  The fix is just delete the file, I will add comment to my website.

Unfortunately, the extension manager only points to where X-Extension by JibbaJabber extension was hosted.  The reason at the time was that he was updating it often.  If it no longer exists, then there the isn't much we can do apart from trying to trace the original author or see if someone has a copy of it.  All the other extensions I host, but I did have to get permission first.

thanks. Anyway, the extension manager is now working like a charm. Do you know why the microsoft.kinetic.smallbasic no longer working even though it still show up on the extension manager?

The Kinectic extension comes with the MS installation of Small Basic.  It appears in my extension manager only so it can be enabled/disabled.  I never used it since I don't have the hardware, but if you have the original installed dlls that's all there ever was.

Looking at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/s...a-p/337275 it looks like you may need to install other stuff for Kinect - this may be out of date?

Hopefully final update on this!

I have traced and fixed the bug downloading old database.  The fix did require a change to SB-Prime, so that change has been uploaded.  SB-Prime can be updated using Advanced->Update option.

I also found a copy of JibbJabba's X-Extension and put a copy on my website that can be downloaded using the extension manager.
